Week of August 15-19

Last week we placed cadets in their organizational structure. Cadets should now know what Squad, Platoon and Company they are in. We also identified who the cadet leadership is for their respective platoons. First year cadets are not given leadership positions this semester because they are still in the learning process. I will say we have some pretty sharp first year cadets and looking forward to them leading next semester. We also introduced the cadets to marching during drill and ceremony and rank structure. First year cadets will receive their uniforms this week. The uniform pants and jackets are to be dry cleaned as often as necessary (PLEASE DO NOT WASH AT HOME). Below is the schedule for this week.

Monday - Drill and Ceremony/Uniform Issue
Tuesday - Pre-Assessment Test

Wednesday - Uniform Issue continued

Thursday - Uniform Class

Friday - Physical Fitness (Circuit Training)

**PHS Raiders will meet Mon - Thur @ 3:45 in room 504 for conditioning. ALL participants must have permission slip from parent/guardian in order to participate in conditioning. Raider final Team selections will be made this Thursday**

Welcome back to the 2016-2017 school year.  It is my pleasure to have your child in the Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (JROTC) program this year.  I have planned a wonderful year of learning opportunities that will assist them in their future endeavors. I am new to Pebblebrook High School and the Cobb County School district. I have 23 years active duty military experience so I am looking forward to sharing all of my knowledge and experience with your students.
